My name is Joel Van Blerk, I've been a graphic designer for a little over 25 years. My agency experience spans a broad range of sectors from public to education, property marketing to film and entertainment distribution.
I've worked with and for some truly brilliant people on projects that range from the Fosters+Partners Masdar Institute in Abu Dhabi and The One World Trade Centre in New York.
For 10 years I worked as creative partner with an exceptionally talented co founder Damian Jones. Together we worked on projects that crossed all film genres. Titles such as the Divergent Series, Mike Leighs Mr Turner and Golden Globe winner If Beale St Could Talk.
I took a leap in 2022 and set up my own independent studio. It was a decision to reboot, reset, and go again. It’s been a great challenge but a thoroughly enjoyable one. I love working directly with clients, building new relationships and sharing the excitement of creating something new. Seeing the positive impact my work has had on the individuals and businesses I've worked with is what it’s all about.
